SIG plc is a leading European supplier of Insulation, Exteriors, Interiors and Specialist Construction Products. The Group principally operates in 11 countries in Europe and has small trading operations in a further 6 serving a wide range of trades in the building and construction markets.
THE PROBLEM...
SIG Plc required a means of displaying and analysing company and branch information to support decision making at a number of different levels. Namely for coverage and branch servicing as well as where to focus marketing activity.
THE SOLUTION...
Geoplan GeoAnalyser, with Business Data Module has enabled SIG to produce various map views with pin locations, radial catchments and distance calculations.
The expert user Paul Gibson has been able to quickly and easily fulfill map requests from across the business in support of marketing initiatives, network coverage queries and many others.
Different elements of company data have been mapped to enable SIG to highlight anomalies where action is required.
