Enabling the fastest drawing speeds and minimum storage requirements at the expense of accuracy for those applications where boundary accuracy is of secondary relevance and only a schematic representation of the Postcode Sectors is required.

NB: The Basic Postcode District and Area boundaries included are only available as part of this product.

Each Postcode contains:

• The appropriate Postcode name.
• Its associated six figure Ordnance Survey grid reference.
• The physical area of the Postcode boundary in square miles and square kilometres.
• Supplied with District and Area Points.
