The Assign To Nearest (ATN) Module is designed to work in conjunction with the standard GeoAnalyser. Its key focus is to allow the user to assign locations, customers or field based personnel to their nearest resource, depot, site or territory base. In overview ATN Module delivers the following functionality:
- Determine optimal locations of facilities as well as optimal allocations of 'customers' to these facilities.
- Understand the distribution of your client base - plan for the future by understanding the relative locations of your supply chain and demand for your products or services.
- Evaluate distribution or product penetration, and run quick "what if" scenarios to allocate your customers to their nearest depot or retail location, to create geographically compact distribution networks.
This simple but effective tool could be used in a variety of business management scenarios but for central planning and deployed within a call receiving or customer care environments. Here are some example applications:
- Allocate retail outlets to their nearest depot or group of depots
- Allocate leads and customers to their nearest Sales Representative
- Allocate customer service requirements to the nearest engineer
- Allocate customer vehicle breakdown to the nearest garage or garages with appropriate resources.
