Software Application Developer
Purpose of Role:
To deliver business solutions by developing software based systems. To effectively project manage to ensure delivery of these solutions to client requirement, on time, to budget, to quality. To provide a transparent interface between all parties involved in such projects and effectively translate client requirements into technical specification.
Responsible for:
Project Management of complete life cycle of software development projects to include research, planning, design, specification, code, testing, documentation, maintenance and support.
Focus on client liaison, including proposal creation, presentation / demonstration creation/ client presentation (either technical or in support of sales team).
Main Duties:
Development of software solutions (external and internal projects)
Involvement in complete process including; requirements analysis, design, requirement specification, proposal, presentation, planning, acquisition, development, testing and delivery / installation
Involvement in client visits / presentations in support of the sales process (on and off site)
Preparation of proposals in support of the sales process
Development of internal utilities for use in the production lifecycle
Technical support for standard product / services when required
Support, maintenance and administration of corporate web sites
Technical Skills:
Minimum of 2 years experience programming within the .NET framework using C#, developing applications in a commercial environment
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented development
SQL server skills
