We have been busy developing new mapping software at
Geoplan and you you’ll be pleased to know that you won’t need a
cardigan and PhD to understand it, or loads of money to get it.
We intend to make you happy in your own SKiN.
Our all new Spatial Knowledge iNterface or SKiN is the product
of 5 years development, customer feedback and observation.
We believe that we have come up with a product that existing
customers will be very pleased with and new customers will be
desperate to have.
Imagine mapping your business performance, across the world,
with a system that you can easily access when you want to, pay
for as long as you want to, using only the tools and maps you
want. This is the basis of SKiN, a product that allows you to get
what you need, when you need it, using a flexible pay-per-use
approach. SKiN is customisable allowing you to select different
functions and coverage dependent on your requirements.
The new Geoplan offer is be made up of three inter-linking
elements - SKiN, Data Manager, and Web Store. Pricing is
simple, from as little as £5.00 per hour, with multi user and
subscription discounts available for heavier system users.

The new Geoplan Web Store will offer mapping software, add – on
applications, data, upgrades and updates in a range of
subscription and pay-per-use modules, allowing users to
purchase only the precise data and functionality they need and for
the precise amount of time they need it.
All data and software tools are organised via a downloadable Data
Manager, and together with SKiN, the all-new Geoplan interface,
users can then manipulate data and implement mapping projects
using their own data, all with no training required.
Our Plan:
SKiN represents the basis of our new product development for
some years to come. However the early stages of development
and release will move very quickly with a host of new advances
coming on stream in the next 12 months.
Our core focus in the early stages is to ensure a smooth transition
for our current maintained ESP customer base. We believe that
there is a real opportunity to improve functionality, matching the
product and service more closely to your needs, whilst at the
same time saving your company money.
In the first phase we will deliver SKiN equivalents of Basic, Expert
and Advanced. We will begin more personalised and detailed
communication from the beginning of September and we will be
shipping products from early October.
The second phase will focus on GeoAnalyser customers and we
aim to be providing more detail in early November, shipping in a
phased way from late November, in line with customer needs.
Once this is complete we will begin to lay out our plans to release
further additions, updates, upgrades and refinements.
