Prepare for R51
We began release of our R51 products and will continue release over the course of May and June 2011. The key changes affecting all our postcode products at this release are as follows;
- All Postcode Products have been updated and we can announce the introduction of 5 new geographic Postcode Sectors, as listed below;
- AB51 6 (Inveruie, Aberdeen)
- B90 8 (Solihull)
- PA80 5 (Oban)
- RG2 6 (Reading)
- CF82 6 (Hegoed, Cardiff)
- In addition to the five new Postcode Sectors, the boundaries of geographic sectors TA5 2 and TA6 6 have been improved in the Bridgwater area of Somerset.
- Reference tables such as the Postcode District and Postcode Sector Drivetime and Adjacency Tables have been updated to reflect the changes to the position of the Postcode Sector/District centroids between which the drivetime is calculated. This is due to the introduction of the 5 new Postcode Sectors and boundary improvements to the two Postcode Sectors referred to above.
- Geoplan Plus Product Range updated to incorporate Postcode Delivery Counts, Post town, ward and NHS codes.
- Digital Supply Options such as FTP despatch are available where preferred. These options can ensure faster access to your data and we would request that you contact a member of our Account Management team if this is of interest.
