USER TIPS
Tip 11 - GeoAnalyser - Utilising the Distribution Module
Environmental sustainability is an area of concern for many of our clients, not least due to the drive to reduce carbon emissions across operations. Our Distribution Module provides significant insight in this area to inform strategic decision making, in addition to reducing unnecessary wastage associated with resource deployment.

Define catchment areas in terms of Driving times, Walking times and Travelling distance. Use the catchment areas to assess your related distribution of customers or resources in order to look at areas of overlap or opportunity.

Enhance territory analysis by determining drive and walk times from the centre of sales and distribution areas to delivery points, increasing the amount of time your staff have with customers.
Other ways of utilising the Distribution Module include:
- Plan call-cycles more effectively – spend less time on the road and more time with your customers.
- Analyse service levels and response times.
- Allocate customers or resources more effectively.
- Alter resource locations in line with customer demand.
- Assess gaps, overlaps and opportunities within your existing business structure.
- Assess risks involved with expansion or contraction strategies.
- Choose the right locations to expand your business.

To centre the map on a pin, do the following:

.
- Select the colour of pins you wish to search from the drop down menu.
