ACCREDITATION NEWS
We have over 25 years of experience working Spatial Database and mapping solutions and provide our customers with a consistently high level of service. Integral to this is our commitment to continuous improvement and quality.
To provide robust frameworks and ensure a sustainable way forward, we have engaged with a number of industry standard accreditations and we are keen to provide an update on recent news.
MICROSOFT PARTNER NETWORK- MEMBER STATUS RETAINED
We are proud to be a member of the Microsoft Partner Network, holding silver competency in software development status, and we have just entered our second year of membership. Silver Competency is the highest applicable level for non-resellers of Microsoft Products and we meet the standard for both software and web development.
This achievement reflects the successful solutions we have delivered, client endorsements received and the qualifications attained by our software application development team. In terms of future goals, we will continue working towards additional competencies such as mobile technology; and we remain honoured to satisfy the requirements for such a well-respected standard.
ISO 14001
We were assessed this summer as part of the annual review process and are pleased to continue to meet the requirements of BSI’s Environmental Standard. This standard is important to ensure that we are operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. We also use ISO 14001 as a tool to assess and reduce wastage in our core business processes.
ISO 9001 & TICK IT
Geoplan uses ISO 9001 and Tick It as important benchmarks for good practise for systems and processes. In September 2011 we had our annual assessment visit from BSI to ensure that we continue to meet the standards. We also use these visits as an opportunity to identify further areas for continuous improvement and this feedback will inform development activity for the forward year.
