Purpose of Role

Specialising in Site, Territory and Route analysis in support of solving strategic and operational planning problems, the Account Manager has the vision, business/ technical knowledge and drive to convert the customers’ requirements into a solution.

Translating this into a clear direction for the nominated Team within Geoplan, and directing the Team to successful delivery to client are key aspects of the role.  Keeping the client and Geoplan Team on track and informed at all points in the cycle, including post-delivery, close-down and ongoing relationship management in relation to servicing existing business, and identifying and developing new business opportunities are also integral to the role.

The role of Account Manager is pivotal in our marketing mix, with core responsibilities for servicing and protecting repeat revenues, generating demand and securing new business opportunities and achieving certain marketing objectives.

Qualifications

Educated to Degree level, ideally within a Business, Economics, Marketing, or Commercially focused discipline.

Professional Sales and/or Marketing Qualifications (e.g. CIM) or Training

Knowledge & Skills

Ability to understand Technological Solutions to solve Business Problems

Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills

Strong Inter-personal and Presentation skills

Problem Solving skills in a Business environment

Strong Technical Skills across Microsoft Office suite

Strong Organisation Skills and ability to work to Deadlines and Targets
