Geoplan SKiN System Progress Update
Wednesday 31st August 2011
SKiN functionality and interface has evolved significantly since the early images presented in September 2010 and although we intended to release at that time, the review process highlighted that we could do much more to improve the system from a customer perspective. We have embarked upon this journey and whilst the ongoing product development process is taking longer than anticipated, we are excited about the changes and positive that you will be pleased with the final result.
In the interim, we have provided an update of the current system, to reflect the Postcode changes that have occurred at Release 51. This has been shipped to all maintained ESP customers and contains information regarding the changes that have occurred.
In addition, we have commenced the programme of on-site ESP visits. The visits focus on current system usage and any key issues and developments that have come in to play since our last site visit. We will also be providing further information regarding the progress of the SKiN system, with a view to seeking customer feedback.
We can already see further opportunities and enhancements but we really want your initial views so that we can plan to match your exact needs. With this in mind, we see this first release as only the beginning of the capabilities of the system.
We will provide more detailed news on progress and launch plans for SKiN in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, I would like to thank you for your patience and re-assure all that the end result will be worth the wait.
The images that follow give a sense of the latest evolution of the system. The key to the design is the simple step driven approach. You always know where you are and receive immediate feedback from the system every time a step or change is made. If you would like to know more, please call +44(0)1423 569538 and we can send you a PowerPoint demonstration...
