Includes all Postcodes points from the latest Royal Mail Postcode database and their associated grid references.
The Postcode Sector boundaries in this pack represent the most accurate postal geography the market has seen to date. Geoplan have created and maintained these boundaries since their inception over 20 years ago, when they were originally created in conjunction with Royal Mail and their paper maps.
Postcode Unit, District and Area boundaries are also provided as part of this nested dataset.
Attached to the Postcode Sectors are Geoplan's Summary Census at Postcode Sector level; a useful demographic set of 20 census categories and their associated variables.
This dataset can be used for most demanding of analysis that requires a high level of precision, accuracy and reliability for both visualisation and geospatial analysis.
